14 Clever Uses for Ice Cube Trays

  • Put all your eye shadows in an ice cube tray so you can see all of your shades at once.

 

  • Manage loose hardware in an ice tray. This is a great idea when you’re actually putting things together. It seems I always lose a screw or nut somewhere.

 

  • Make craft time easier by giving each child his or her own paint palette (in an ice cube tray).

 

  • Keep your earrings neat and tidy in your drawer.

 

  • Keep your crafts and office supplies corralled. You don’t want those things spilling all over your drawer!

 

  • Use an ice tray to hold all the yummy fixings for an ice cream sundae bar!

 

  • Use ice cube trays to make your own garbage disposal cleaner with vinegar, Thieves cleaner, and citrus fruits.

  • Drill holes in each cell and use ice cube trays as seed starters. The holes are necessary for proper drainage, and it also makes it easier to pop the seedlings out without damaging them. The seed starter trays can be reused year after year.
